Like a freak nighttime rainbow, this ongoing sequence of lit waterfalls titled Neon Luminance is part of a collaboration between Sean Lenz and Kristoffer Abildgaard over at From the Lenz. The duo dropped high-powered Cyalume glow sticks in a lot of colors into quite a lot of waterfalls in Northern California after which made exposures various from 30 seconds to 7 minutes to capture the submerged trails of light because the sticks moved in the course of the current. to perform one of the most extra difficult photographs they strung several sticks collectively directly to create totally different patterns of illumination. For these of you interested by pollution, the sticks (that are buoyant) had been never opened and were accrued on the finish of every exposure, thus no toxic goo used to be blended into the water.
